#School Trip – Bali Haul pt. 1

Hello everyone!

I actually didn’t bought many things while I was in Bali, but I spent my money lavishly on things I shouldn’t have buy. I mean, I didn’t even know what to do with chamomile essential oil on my every day life, buy I bought it anyway.

Note to self : think properly before buying something. It may save your money.

But, even I felt like I shouldn’t bought somethings I already bought, I still feel happy without regret. Well, someday later, I would use these things and remember all the memories I had when I was doing this school trip, that’s why I don’t have any regret to bought them. It’s because a little memory they bring.

So, I’m going to make a little haul post now! I’ll divide the haul into some parts, so you won’t get bored of my thoughts on things I bought! Anyway, here’s the first list!

  • Herborist – Manggo body butter

I like this product! It moisturise my skin perfectly and the mango scent smells super nice. I love to use it before I go outside because it makes my skin soft and fresh. But, there’s one thing I don’t like, which the scent doesn’t stay long, only about 3 or 4 hours, then I lost the mango scent I super love:(

    • Herborist – Chamomile essential oil

I mentioned this product earlier as if I didn’t buy this, I might save my money. But the reality is I bought this oil anyway.

Reason? Because I love the smell (really relaxing!), and I might never have any chance to buy any essential oil later (because later in my student life, maybe there’s another thing I can buy, instead a bottle of essential oil).

And I still have no idea what should I do with this product! If you reading this, and have use this kind of essential oil, maybe you can help me by write something on the comment box below!๐Ÿ˜‹

      • Bali Alus – Chocolate body and face mask

I love face mask, and thought why not buy one from Bali? I chose the chocolate variant because before this, I was planning to buy a chocolate face mask but I didn’t because I have to use the money to bought another thing. (such a poor money management, lol). I haven’t try this, so I can’t tell you I love it or hate it, but I really hope this mask will be one of my favourite.

And, that’s all for the first part! I hope you like this post ๐Ÿ™‚

        #School Trip

        Hello everyone!

About 2 weeks ago, I had a school trip to visit many universities located on the Java island. This trip was mean to help us, the 12th grader, to prepare the next step of our educational life, which is going to college. As we would visit many faculties on those various universities, we should choose which we want to visit. I chose to visit ITB in Bandung, UGM in Jogjakarta, and ITS in Surabaya. This was super fun, because we could get the college atmosphere while we visited the uni. And, wait, the fun didn’t stop there, because after we went to Surabaya, we also went to Bali!

This was the most interesting time, because we visited many places in Bali, like Tanjung Benoa (where we can play many watersport here), Pandawa beach, Jimbaran beach (We had dinner with the whole batch of 12th grader), Tanah Lot and the most important, Joger and Khrisna (where we can buy many things as souvenirs).

I really like this trip because me and my classmates could have a long time together on the bus, and also there’s a lot of new experiences I’ll never regret. I hope this journey stay forever in my head cause every memories are all super fun.

And also, I’m going to post somethings related to this trip, so, be ready!

        Have a great day!

        Salawaku – A Review?

        This movie is beautiful.

“Salawaku” tells a story about Salawaku, a native Malukuan boy, and a wealthy modern metropolitan waman from Jakarta, named Saras, set out on a journey to find Salawaku’s mysteriously lost sister.

I personally underestimate the film before I watched it. Reasons? Maybe because it’s Indonesian film.

Yes, the old me, would likely choose Hollywood’s films rather than Indonesian film to watch at the cinema (what a shame ๐Ÿ˜ฅ). But, the new me, will never underestimate Indonesian films anymore. And the reason is because of this movie really slaps me in the face for the fact that Indonesian films also has a very good quality. And that, will bring us to the first point why I love this movie.

The movie, as I said in the first place, is beautiful. I love how Faozan Rizky, the cinematographer, showing us the beauty of Maluku. Everything looks so good, and leave me wanting to go to beaches around Ceram Island. I like this kind of road movie, where the film success to bring us with the character’s journey through excotic places. Like, the movie is giving you a chance to know what it feels like to be in that place, and it such a nice experience.

The next thing I like from this movie is, how a simple story with quite taboo topic in Indonesia, can be presented nicely with not too much unnecessary dialogs and scenes. Like the backstory of Saras, well told by a simple flashback of the night before she went away from her resort and voiceover of her and her boyfriend. This kind off flashback is my favourite! Also from the begining of the movie, and almost all Binaya’s scene before the third quarter of the movie, are my favourite scenes for the same reason. This kind of storytelling is also the reason why my first word of this movie is beautiful. (Yes, it has stunning visual with minimal dialogue. It’s one of my favourite style of film)

And because the movie hasn’t much dialogue, the next thing they should boost beside the cinematography, is of course the acting from their actors. I definitely would agree that the actors play their role really good, even for some scene without dialogue. And yes, the story is well told by their performance.

Oh! Forgot to tell you that I also love the traditional songs played as the backsound (okay, I’m actually sure this is the prefer word for that music plays in the middle of a movie, so correct me if I’m wrong!) of the movie.

It’s another 9/10 from me, and yes, you should watch it because it’s soooo gooooddd ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰. And if you wonder where to watch it, you can find it on HOOQ (it’s basically an app to watch movies and tv series like Netflix, and it’s quiet populer in Asia).

Hey, if you’re Indonesian, and already watched the film, share your thoughts about it on the comment section! I’d love to hear it ๐Ÿ˜Š. But, if you haven’t, go watch it after reading this post!

When these things happen to you

When there are things happened to you. Things that make you succeed to cry hard over your pillows. Things that perfectly open your mind and aware about the cruelness of the world. Things that make you don’t want to get up and put a smile anymore on that face. Things that make you hate everything from this world. Things that make you don’t feel any sorry for those kind people who try to offer some help. Things that also are the most things you hate over anything. These things that are you should get rid off. These things that make you changed to a stronger person. These things that makes you see the real world and teach you how to stand over it. These things that make you be someone you’ve never think would be. So when these things happened to you, be strong, be brave, be patient, be sincere. Remember there’s a lot more things on this world can make you feel the opposite.
